Project 2

We have prepared the following activities for project 2. We have prepared two activities for children in the second cycle of early childhood education, specifically for 5-year-old students.

We would do the first activity in a session that would last more or less between thirty and 40 minutes. In it we would create a mental map, which consists first of explaining what vertebrate animals and invertebrate animals are. Next, we will go on to list and put on the class projector the ten images of vertebrate animals that are the following: parrot, lion, cat, dog, rabbit, crocodile, dolphin, elephant and horse. Then we will continue to list and put on the class projector the ten images of invertebrate animals that are the following: ants, fly, bee, snake, jellyfish, snail, scorpion, octopus, spider, and butterfly. Then we will use CANVA to create with them the mental map of the vertebrate and invertebrate animals, where they would put the corresponding animals in each of the columns. The final image of our mental map would more or less look like this.

We would also work on the last activity in a session that would last about thirty or forty minutes. We have created some cards with the image of each of the animals and on the back we have put the name of each of the animals. We will take two bags and introduce the vertebrate and invertebrate animals into one. We will make two groups and each of the members of the group will draw a card and will show it to their groupmates and pronounce it. After 15 minutes or so they will change the coat. We could do this activity other times to remind them of the animals.

With the cards we could create more games. Here you have an image of the cards created.

Entrance 5

 Good morning everyone.

Today in class we have seen a video of how the sounds of animals are written and pronounced. Here you have the link so that you can see it since it is very interesting because in Spanish it is said one way and in English another. That is important for us to be clear about how it is said to teach it to children.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t99ULJjCsaM

Below we have made a whole class Kahoot of 22 questions about the video display to see what we knew and what we need to improve.

It also seems very important to me that something we worked on the day before on phonetics is a method through which children are taught to read. We are talking about synthetic phonetics, also known as combined phonetics or inductive phonetics, it is a method of teaching English reading that first teaches the sounds of the letters and then accumulates to combine these sounds to achieve the complete pronunciation of whole words.

With this we say goodbye until the next entry.

Project 1

Hello!

In this first project we had to make an infographic about the educational system of the country that we would like. Lorena and I chose Japan.

Due to the sanitary circumstances we are living, we had to make

a video to explain the infographic.

We hope you like it!😊

Entrance 3

On September 21st he began to explain the following verb tenses that appear below. It was the order you see and he explained when we should use it and gave us several examples in each of the tenses.

As in all the sessions, the presentation was made through the nearpod program combined with activities to capture our attention

Below I leave a table where the times of the future are very well explained with some examples.

Today he gave us again a MASTER CLASS of the future present and be going to+infinitive and giving us a very valuable material to consult.

Entrance 2

Today in class we have worked on the phonemes of the vowels and how many there are and how the 12 sounds for the vowels are pronounced.

At the moment that we are writing a notebook, we cann´t let this document go by to talk about current news and record things that happen in the world.

Due to the situation in which we find ourselves, there is a news item in the newspaper  “El español”, on August 20.2020 that reads the following news “London´s plan to open schools in September: to close pubs again”. This is due to the rebound in coronavirus cases registered in recent days in the United kingdom could force the Executive to close the “pubs” again and ban “other activities” in England to allow the start of the school year next month, according to experts.

    “What do wr prioritize?”

“I think we are in a situation where most people think that opening schools is a priority for the health and well-being of children, and they know that when we do so, many households will re-link. Meldey said this Saturday.

In order to minimize the “prevalence of Covid-19 in the community” with the return of schoolchildren, the expert recalled, it may be necessary to “close some of the other connection networks” and “other activities” “We colud even ask ourselves if we have to choose between one or the other, what we give priority to,” Medley said.

To conclude, in the United Kingdom, the closure of leisure venues is related to educational quality, since it contributes to the educational system being able to carry out in order to have a better educational quality and avoid the pandemic.

Entrance 1

In our second class José Belda explained the times in the past tense to us through a NEARPOD which is a program that allows you to make presentations and activities in order to make the online class more dynamic.

That's why here I leave you with some of the ones I explained to us and what they are used for. I'm also going to leave you with a list of the irregular verbs since these verbs are not formed like the regular verbs verb+ed.

He gave us a MASTER CLASS on past tenses and gave us very simple but very compact material.
